Registration

To register, visit the UBICOMP/ISWC 2017 conference registration page. Before registering, please read the cancellation and registration transfer conditions, as well as the membership requirements for discounted rates, as stated in our Terms and Conditions section below.

Please note, remote attendance via Telepresence Robots is a new option available to a limited number of UBICOMP/ISWC attendees this year.

Important Dates

  • Conference and workshops occur September 11-15
  • Early registration rates are available through July 22 July 31 (extended)
  • Late registration rates are available through September 10
  • On-Site registration rates are available between September 11-15

Visa support letters

International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. If you require a visa for entry into the US, please follow the instructions on the ACM Visa Support Letter page to request a visa support letter. Use the subject line “UBICOMP/ISWC 2017 Visa Support Letter.”

Please note that the ACM requires that you have registered for the conference and have a confirmation number before you can be issued with a letter to support your visa application.

Students

Student registration requires a proof of current student status. E.g., a copy of a signed letter from your institution or PhD advisor on University letter headed stationary, or a copy of a valid student ID, etc.

Cancellations/Refund Policy

Cancellations are accepted until August 15, 2017. Refunds will be made in full less a $100 cancellation fee ($50 for workshop-only registrations or day passes). There will be no refunds issued after August 15, 2017.

Registration Changes & Transfers

Transfer requests had to be made in writing and received by August 15, 2017 in order to be processed. Please send an email to generalchairs-2017@ubicomp.org outlining the transfer information.
