The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in White Plains, NY. The closest airport is the Westchester County Airport (HPN). JFK, Laguardia and Newark are the major international airports that are close by. HPN has the advantages of being a small airport. The city of White Plains is a short drive from Manhattan. It is also easily reachable by Metro North Railroad as well. The hotel offers a free shuttle from the White Plains train station. Call in advance to arrange the shuttle (which runs approximately every half hour). The hotel can be considered walkable for the able bodied but is a short cab ride from the White Plains Station. To get to White Plains Crowne Plaza Hotel (map) from the JFK or Laguardia airports, you may take the Connecticut Limousine. Fares are about $40 each way. Alternatively you may call Greenburgh Taxi: 914.592.4949 or 1.800.270.TAXI and arrange a ride in advance. Fare is $83 each way from JFK International including tolls. Fare is $73 each way from JFK Domestic including tolls. Fare is $63 each way from Laguardia including tolls. Each additional passenger is $2. The taxi may be cheaper if you have several people in your party. The Connecticut Limousine does not accept advance reservations for rides originating from the airports. Once you have picked up your baggage, look for ground transporation and find CT Limo. From the Westchester County Airport you use the Crowne Plaza Hotel free shuttle. Call the hotel in advance to arrage the shuttle. The shuttle runs approximately every half hour. Alternately call Greenburgh Taxi: 914.592.4949 or 1.800.270.TAXI and arrange a ride. Fare is around $13. Advance reservations are possible but not essential since the distances are short. Rental cars are available at all the above airports. To get to the Crowne Plaza from JFK use this route. From LaGuardia (LGA) use this route . From Westchester County Airport (HPN) use this route. If you are coming by Metro North Trains you get off at the White Plains station. From there you could either take the free hotel shuttle, walk (15-20min) or call Greenburgh Taxi.
