ISWC is a premier interdisciplinary venue in which leading international researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners in the field present and discuss novel results in all aspects of ubiquitous and pervasive computing. This includes the design, development, and deployment of ubiquitous and pervasive computing technologies and the understanding of human experiences and social impacts that these technologies facilitate.

The conference will be held on 11-15th September 2022 in Atlanta, USA and Cambridge, UK. More information regarding the program, attendance and paper calls will be available soon.

ISWC 2022 is the premier conference for Wearable Computing. ISWC 2022 is collocated with the 2022 ACM International Joint Conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (Ubicomp’22) with shared Workshops and Tutorials.

Although UbiComp/ISWC 2022 was originally planned for Cancun, this venue has been postponed to 2023 due to COVID concerns. The new venues of Atlanta and Cambridge are hoped to reduce the travel for most people as COVID is still around. The new dates reflect the availability of these two venues. You may still see reference to Cancun for 2022 on various sites - these references are outdated.
